Biden Administration Announces National Standard For PFAS In Drinking Water

(March 14, 2023, 12:35 PM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announced March 14 that it is proposing a national drinking water standard that will require public water systems to monitor for the presence of six per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) and will require those water systems to notify the public if PFAS levels exceed regulatory standards.  The announcement comes in conjunction with a report released by the Biden administration on the state of the science regarding PFAS....
